Australian Women Lift the Fifth Worldcup Title.

Australia topped India in the women's T20 World Cup . Australia women taste World Cup title for the fifth time, beating India by 3 runs at Melbourne Cricket Ground on World Women's Day.

They have been champions five times out of seven.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat first, with Beth Mooney's unbeaten 78 and Alisa Haley's 75 help them to win by 85 runs. India were bowled out for 99 in 19.1 overs.

Alyssa Haley and Beth Mooney gave Australia a good start. Opener Haley, who played four fours and five sixes in his first innings before getting out. Another opener, Beth Mooney, was unbeaten on 78 .

For India, Dipti Sharma took two wickets for 38 runs.

Australia's Alyssa Healy won the Man of the Match Prize. And his hometown Beth Mooney became the best player in the tournament.
